Whether it’s an individual or a group\, Habitat Heroes have created wildlife and nature-friendly ecosystems on their own properties. \nThe Habitat Heroes Tour is a great opportunity to learn and get ideas for your own yard! \nWe will be touring three sites. The tour will begin at stop #1\, Broadneck High School. Please meet in the front parking lot. From there\, stop #2 is Christ Our Anchor Church on Green Holly Dr\, and then on to stop #3\, Jamie Wilhelm’s house on Greenway Dr. \n

SUMMARY:Broadneck Grille Fundraiser for Eagle Scout Project & CCC Oyster Project ~ June 25\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:Local Boy Scout\, Kellan Moore\, is working on his Eagle Scout Project\, which\, in turn\, will benefit CCC’s Oyster Project on the Little Magothy River. We are so appreciative and thankful that Kellan has chosen to improve the structure and stability of the oyster table used at the site! (The oyster nursery is located at River Bay Rd. and Swan Dr. in Cape St. Claire). \nHelp Kellan help us by eating at Broadneck Grill – dine in or take out counts! Kellan will get a percentage of the evening’s total receipts to help fund his Eagle Scout Project. And CCC’s work with oysters will be much improved by a sturdier table.

DESCRIPTION:CCC is continually working to improve and maintain three public areas in Cape St. Claire for the enjoyment of all – Serene Ravine (across from 1037 Lake Claire Dr.)\, Little Magothy Beach Park and Woodland Trail (1110 Little Magothy View)\, and the Deep Creek Pier parking lot (end of Gateway Dr.) This is ongoing work. \nCCC’s Conservation Crew\, aka Wednesday Weed Warriors\, removes invasive plants at the properties weekly\, from early April through mid-October. When appropriate for the season\, native plants are also added to the properties. This is a great opportunity for student volunteer hours! Gloves and trowels are provided\, but feel free to bring your own gloves and tools. \nPlease use the SignUpGenius link below to sign up for any or all of the August dates:  8/6\, 8/13\, 8/20\, 8/27.  There are two time slots for each date:  8AM – 10AM OR  5:30PM – 7PM.  The location for each time slot is indicated in the sign up form – please take note of the location! \nhttps://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0D49AAAC22A57-57727281-august#/
