DESCRIPTION:CCC is continually working to improve and maintain three public areas in Cape St. Claire for the enjoyment of all – Serene Ravine (across from 1037 Lake Claire Dr.)\, Little Magothy Beach Park and Woodland Trail (1110 Little Magothy View)\, and the Deep Creek Pier parking lot (end of Gateway Dr.) This is ongoing work. \nCCC’s Conservation Crew\, aka Wednesday Weed Warriors\, removes invasive plants at the properties weekly\, from early April through mid-October. When appropriate for the season\, native plants are also added to the properties. This is a great opportunity for student volunteer hours! This year the sale will be on September 20th\, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm\, in the field behind the Cape Clubhouse (1223 River Bay Rd). In addition to a beautiful selection of native plants – including new species this year! – we will have many garden/plant experts on hand to answer questions\, recommend plants for your growing conditions\, and share the many benefits of using natives to create healthy ecosystems. \nTo help plan for additions to your yard this fall\, we’ve provided a list below of plants and shrubs we expect to have available. Take a look! \nWe hope to see you at this year’s Native Plant Fest & Sale – quality experts on hand\, a large selection of native plants (with new species this year!)\, and low prices.
