CCC is helping to provide labor for an environmental literacy Capstone Project designed by two Broadneck HS students. Runoff is currently undermining the sailing shack at Lake Claire Beach (aka “Little Beach”), located at the end of Latrobe Dr., here in the Cape. The students have organized a small restoration project to slow runoff and stabilize the shack by bringing in topsoil and planting native grasses. Volunteers will be moving dirt and planting grasses. Bring your own work gloves. If you have a shovel, even better! Great opportunity for volunteer hours!

There will be two shifts: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, 4/12, and 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Sunday, 4/13.
