Coming Soon! Learning Libraries

Look out for 2 Learning Libraries coming this summer! One will be on the trail at the Little Magothy Beach and the other one on the trail at Serene Ravine.

What is a Learning Library? – A Learning Library is a place to learn about the native and invasive species in our community. It will have information suited to many levels, including kids.

Why am I doing this? – I am doing this project for my Girl Scout Gold Award. Once I complete it, I will be turning it over to Cape Conservation Corps to make sure it is well kept.

What will be in it? – There will be 4 sections (one with journaling supplies, one with reference books, one with additional books to take, and one with information pamphlets and things for kids). They will also have a green roof. Who am I? I am Rebecca Sawyer. I am a first year Senior Girl Scout and this is my 10^th year in Girl Scouts. I have also earned my Girl Scout Bronze and Silver Awards, and I am very active in the community.
