Twice a year, the Cape Conservation Corps (CCC) hosts a speaker from the native gardening, environmental, or conservation worlds for an evening event at the Cape Clubhouse. The event is free and open to the public. Topics have ranged from planting a pollinator garden, to creating a backyard habitat for birds, to the state of oyster recovery efforts in the Magothy River and the Chesapeake Bay. Light refreshments are served, and there’s a Q&A session after the talk. It’s always interesting!

Generally the speaker events are held in March and November. Please check the CCC calendar on our website, under “Get Involved > CCC Events” for dates and topics this year. Hope to see you there!
