CCC is currently working with Cape St. Claire Improvement Association and Cape St. Claire Swim Club to restore the deeply eroded path between Blue Ridge Place and the Swim Club. The path eroded over time due to uncontrolled stormwater. CCC has led the effort to find a contractor and grant money to repair the path. Work is scheduled to begin in 2026. Anne Arundel County Public Works was also contacted; a maintenance crew has repaired the ledge at the top of the path on Blue Ridge Place to redirect rainwater. Invasive vines and plants are rampant around the path, so once the path is repaired, CCC plans to remove and control them, and plant native trees, bushes and plants to help prevent future erosion.
